Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
